Several nights ago I started downloading 22 gigs of files on to my desktop computer using Vuze (previously Azureus). That's all five seasons of the US QAF. I have the first three seasons anyway, but one of them is a US box set, and I'm not prepared to shell out fifty quid each for seasons 4 and 5 when I'll want to buy the region 2 sets when they're ( Read more... )

You know how your computer has a default media player? Like, Windows Media Player or VLC player or whatever. How do I change it? I had it on on VLC (I like the pretty orange traffic cones) and somehow managed to change it to stupid Winamp. I can't seem to get it back.

The cat seems better, a little brighter. She's enjoying the new meat I bought them, but unfortunately she only seems to be eating the jelly part ~sigh~ This isn't a new thing ( Read more... )

I just booked tickets to the see the Doctor Who Exhibition at Earls Court. My friend R agreed to come with me. She does like DW, but hasn't seen S4 and I suspect she would have accompanied me even if I'd suggested a guided tour around a sewerage plant if it meant I was happy. She's just that sort of friend.
